The Spirit of Corona: What It Is & How to Get Rid of It

My fellow believers in Jesus Christ, the Father told me today to share the revelation He’s been giving me about the coronavirus. He’s been showing me what it is, the strategy of Satan behind it, and how to gain authority over it. At the end of this post, I will break things down into steps to freedom, with Scriptures attached to each step. Then I’ll close with a powerful and specific word God gave me. But first, I just want to take you through the same process that Holy Spirit took me through. I pray that it leads to understanding, encouragement, and total victory for each of you!

I have been sick with coronavirus for the last few days.  I’ve not been tested, but my symptoms match up with what I’ve read. The most problematic symptom has been a sense of a great weight on my chest, restricting my breathing. Thankfully I am a healthy person, but I can see how someone with preexisting lung problems would not only feel fearful but could also be in trouble. I can see how even a healthy person could feel fearful or panicked.

God told me a few days ago that I was to offer to pray for people who were sick with this virus, and He would heal them. But then I came down with it myself! My husband suggested that perhaps God wanted me to use this time to press into Him for revelation on how to gain authority over Coronavirus, using myself as a test subject. Then I would have authority to pray for others and see them healed of it. I knew this was a word from God for me, and so I started to do that very thing. As I prayed and asked Him for revelation, here’s what He showed me. Today He told me to release this to the saints. So here we go.

The first thing I saw was a dark, afflicting spirit that was attached to the center of my chest and had its tentacles all over my lungs.  This was no surprise given how I was feeling.  You may have heard that the word “corona” means “crown”. The Holy Spirit immediately associated that with “pride” in my mind. He told me to bind the spirit of Corona and loose a spirit of humility. When I did that, I immediately felt the restriction on my chest go away and I could breathe easier! It was amazing. How wonderful to be able to take deep, unrestricted breaths.

Next, the Holy Spirit highlighted 2 Cor. 10:4-5:

⁴ The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. ⁵ We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

God has given his children weapons that are divinely empowered to demolish strongholds. The spirit of Corona is setting itself up as a stronghold, an argument, and a pretension against the knowledge of God. We’ve been empowered to DEMOLISH strongholds, arguments, and pretensions. Therefore, I knew that God was saying that Corona needed to be demolished.

However, the verse also talks about taking captive every thought. The difference between “demolishing” and “taking captive” suddenly stood out to me. If we are to demolish Corona, what is it that we are supposed to take captive?

Then I had a flash vision of Corona as a fortress. A fortress is a structure built as a means of defense to protect something. I realized Corona is a fortress that protects a lie! Corona has set itself up as a pretension or argument against the knowledge of God.

It’s not a question of whether God exists. Every person on the planet, deep, deep down believes there is a God. We are wired to believe this. He created us this way. Even atheists are really just mad at their perception of who God is, so they choose to thumb their nose at Him and say He must not exist (because if He did, He would not be good, and no one wants a God who is not good). But this is Satan’s pet lie that he’s been perpetuating since the Garden: the lie that God is not good. God is, in fact, evil.

I suddenly saw the spirit of Corona as a prideful fortress that has been protecting a lie that God is not good. Corona attempts to prove this lie by actually causing the death of people. This fortress represents the pride of Satan. This is why we bind the spirit of Corona and loose a spirit of humility: first, because humility is the opposite (but greater) spirit to pride, which is the root of Corona. Second, because this reminds Satan of the victory Jesus had over Corona at the cross, where Corona was not only defeated, but humiliated!

The coming outpouring of God’s love and presence on this planet is going to be a revelation of His goodness. This has Satan so scared that he is trying to preempt this massive revelation with his own strategic assignment to undermine and undercut the revelation of God’s goodness.

Luke 10:17-21 TPT

When the seventy missionaries returned to Jesus, they were ecstatic with joy, telling him, “Lord, even the demons obeyed us when we commanded them in your name!”

¹⁸ Jesus replied, “While you were ministering, I watched Satan topple until he fell suddenly from heaven like lightning to the ground. ¹⁹ Now you understand that I have imparted to you all my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power^[j] Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will be able to harm you as you walk in this authority. ²⁰ However, your real source of joy isn’t merely that these spirits submit to your authority, but that your names are written in the journals of heaven and that you belong to God’s kingdom. This is the true source of your authority.”

²¹ Then Jesus, overflowing with the Holy Spirit’s anointing of joy, exclaimed, “Father, thank you, for you are Lord Supreme over heaven and earth! You have hidden the great revelation of this authority from those who are proud, those wise in their own eyes, and you have shared it with these who humbled themselves. Yes, Father. This is what pleases your heart and the very way you’ve chosen to extend your kingdom: to give to those who become like trusting children.

Listen up, fellow saints: Jesus has given us authority to TRAMPLE upon every demon before us and to overcome every power Satan possesses! But the true source of our authority lies in the fact that our names are written in heaven and we belong to God’s kingdom. He gives us this authority when we humble ourselves and become like trusting children. We are not to be wise in our own eyes, but to look to the Father for everything. This is where the authority comes from!

As believers, we’ve been given authority to TRAMPLE the spirit of corona. To demolish it. And then to take captive the very lie it is trying to protect: the lie that God is not good.

Corona is attached to a person’s lungs because that is their life source. A person cannot breathe without oxygen. Corona is attempting to have power over life and death. This is part of the pride of Satan: power over life and death. He is jealous of God as Creator. Since he cannot give life, he is devoted to taking it away.

It is important that we speak this truth: only God is the Creator and the giver of life and breath. Only He can give and take away, not Corona. It is vital that we declare truth to Corona about the lordship of Jesus Christ. That we renounce the control of the flesh and declare the control of the Holy Spirit which brings life and peace.

Corona is like a fish. Fish need water or else they die. Fish out of water die very soon without water to breathe. The water that Corona flourishes in is fear. Fear is the very lifeblood of Corona and without it, Corona no longer has any power. It’s creating fear right now because it needs fear to survive. Renounce any and all fear from yourself and your household in Jesus’ name.

Holy Spirit taught me to take these steps to deal with the spirit of Corona that attached itself to me:

1. Bind the spirit of corona and loose the spirit of humility (Matt. 16:19)
2. Speak truth over the lie: God is GOOD and his love endures forever! (Ps. 100:5, Ps. 145:9)
3. Take the thought captive: command the lie to bow it’s knee to the lordship of Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 10:4-5)
4. Renounce the control of the corona spirit and declare instead the control of the Holy Spirit which brings life and peace (Rom. 8:6)
5. Repent of any ways you have partnered with fear or lies. Renounce any and all fear from yourself and your household in Jesus’ name and invite His peace instead (2 Tim. 1:7, Psalm 91)
6. Do this as many times as necessary. Do not give up. Do not give in. You have power to trample and demolish strongholds and take lies captive, like prisoners of war, and make them bow to Jesus Christ.

Lastly, I heard this today from the Father:

“I am releasing my burden of love upon this planet. What I mean by that is that I am going to unleash a revelation of my great love unlike the earth has ever seen. Corona is attempting to set itself up against the knowledge that God is good. Corona is spreading a lie that I am evil, because Corona knows about the overwhelming nature of my love and goodness and it’s scared. It’s trying to stop me before I’ve begun. But this is hilarious, because nothing can stop the LORD OF HOSTS! I am King of kings and Lord of lords and NOTHING can stop me. I will release my revelation of love in the perfect fullness of time. This is what the world has been waiting for. This is what my Bride has been longing for. It is happening this year. March 20, 2020 will begin the outpouring of the revelation of my love, and I CANNOT BE STOPPED.”
